What is STEM?

It’s the acronym for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These disciplines are vital for a striving economy, and a safe and healthy society.

At my childs school only 20 kids were accepted for STEM out of 280 kids
These kids are all in same neighborhood and sort of same race

In city schools, A large group of kids can't pass English.

Who declared that for society to be “fair” everythang must be distributed per the demographic?
If I were a woman who could leverage my gender, I would not waste that on STEM where three days a week are spent in mind and butt numbing project, budget and schedule status meetings, where creativity is stifled by risk averse managers who fear looking bad and career advancement is found kissing up the big dogs after work in fern bars and Saturday morning golf games.
STEM is Dilbert plus Caddy Shack.
Who would choose that if there were another way?

Is this the same idea that teaches more steps are more productive?
You know, click twice to get tracking unless you at UPS, then it is three times.

Or how about the idiot that came up with - as you scroll down the page the navigation bar disappears forcing you to scroll back up?
Let's not forget the nugget eBay has come up with for your watch list . . . scroll down and the navigation bar is replace by the delete button.

Common sense trumps college education here boys and girls. You don't take the site navigation away and the delete button goes at the bottom of the page not the top unless your monitor or phone is upside down . . .

The study was right, humans are getting dumber with more education.
