This video will describe the workings of a LoRa Store/Forward repeater. When line of site and clear Fresnel zones cannot be obtained in your system a repeater will increase range and reliability of the data links. The repeater uses the E32 LoRa modules from Ebyte controlled by a Parallax Propeller P1 microcontroller running Tachyon Forth.

I did something similar using the same 1W module, I used an ESP32 to make a Lora to wifi gateway, whatever comes in over Lora is forwarded to a website, the response is then returned to the Lora module. I did do a video showing my project build.

I designed a lora relay system that repeated everything it received . However the issue with this simple approach is when two repeaters can hear each other. They can get stuck in a packet relay loop. Also there is a limit to how much data allowable transmit time is legal. The time could be used up by other users of the band that the relay is repeating.A solution to that is a packet header to only repeat data that your sensors are transmitting.

The Feather boards from AdaFruit work nice in this application, and you don't need the separate controller. I've used them myself. As an aside, I didn't expect to see a prop chip driving it. :)

The E32 modules for 915MHz are getting hard to find. Is there a replacement for these modules ?
