This Every Day Carry rabbit hole is getting deep

I have worn a Nexbelt for the last 2-3 years. It eventually started to fray, and twist. The ratcheting mechanism gets bound up. I picked up a Kore yesterday and can already tell it is an upgrade. The operation of the ratcheting mechanism is night and day better on the Kore, and the rigidity, plus extra stitching is a recipe for success. Very happy with my purchase!

Worn Kore Esssentials belts for years and years as well and I still loving them.

I had no clue when I first got into carrying how much a stiff, good belt makes a difference in comfort. I have a Kore belt and it is very nice.

Good job reviewing these. I have had my Kore Essentials nylon tactical gun belt for a few years now and absolutely love it. I have found nothing else better on the market.

I've been watching Hegshot for a couple years and I know he always recommends these Kore essentials belts. Glad I listened and finally ordered one. Works perfectly and wears very comfortably. Truly a great EDC belt.

Hegshot just received my new Kore Western edc belt and I couldn't be more satisfied. I can't believe how much more comfortable it is to carry a full size 1911. No sag at all. Extremely happy with this belt. My search for the perfect carry belt is over. KORE has my vote. As a matter of fact I was so happy with my Kore belt that I was showing it off to a friend, he has just received his new Kore edc western gun belt. thanks again for such a great product.

I prefer the Nexbelt. The release leaver is a bit harder to find and actuate in comparison to the Kore, especially if your used to the Kore, but after getting used to the Nexbelt I actually prefer it that way. I think the streamlined buckle and tapered belt end design makes it way easier to put on and work even better with appendix rigs. Another plus for the lower profile release lever with appendix carry too. No need to slide the buckle to one side or the other, but if you did, the streamlined design helps slide it through the belt loops.
I love both belts and will never go back to a traditional belt, even if I wasn’t carrying, but I personally think Nexbelt is better and offers more designs. Only reason I’d buy another Kore is if I wanted one of their designs that Nexbelt didn’t offer.
Great video 👍🏻

Bought two Kore ratchet belts on a whim and man I don’t know what took me so long. These hold up full size load outs with pistols and extended mags with no sag. The inside is a rubberized texture which holds up well and has some nice grip. The ratchet mechanism is great for changing belt tightness while working to ensure there is not printing, adjusting to movement, sitting, etc. Everything seems robust so far and far exceeds the performance of my other gun belts. For IWB carry I would say its essential. Glad I made the change. Other belts are good, but Kore ups the ante.

Watching YouTube, I came across a lot of videos like this one that talked about these KORE Belts So I decided to give them a try. These Belts are GREAT! I bought the X5 Tactical OD Green With added FDE Belt, then order the X7 Belt and now just ordered the USMC Buckle with Leather Belt. Great Product THX

I purchased both nexbelt and kore belt in Jan. I have been swapping them out as my daily carry to get a feel for each. The best way I can compare them is to say that nexbelt does NOT come with a belt keeper to prevent the tip from sticking out because it doesn't need it. The kore belt needs a belt keeper because it is stiffer and from what I can tell a little better constructed. Also on occasion the buckel on my nexbelt sticks or is hard to move the belt thru it. Kore glides thru very easy and locks solid. It feels more satisfying. Having said that, the nexbelt is not bad but I would say not as good as the kore belt from my observations. Maybe bevcause kore has been making them longer.

I have a Kore X6 and a Nexbelt Appendix. I prefer the Nexbelt as the release is a lot easier for me and it just fits me better.

I have a nexbelt and it has a different button to press to tighten to loosen than the one you showed in the video. Very easy to adjust and hasn’t gotten stuck. I carry mine for edc and also use it when I compete in IDPA. I do wish it also had a clamp because the buckle is held by three torx screws and only that.

Well… I guess I will be the ONLY guy for NEXBELT! Everything you said about Kore is WHY I prefer NEXBELT! It’s Stiffer and has a Low profile lever!
Let’s start by saying… I LIVE IN NORTH IDAHO! I AM A VETERAN AND I OPEN CARRY EVERYDAY, EVERYWHERE! I carry SIG! Anywhere from an X5 LEGION, XCARRY LEGION, 365X, 365XL, 365X MACROS, to a GLOCK 45 MOS. If you DONT like it? LEAVE MY BEAUTIFUL STATE AND COUNTRY!!! Now…
I have worn NEXBELTS EVERY SINGLE DAY OF MY LIFE FOR THE PAST 3yrs!!! I have (4) TITAN XL’s and (2) leather dress belts!
I LOVE HOW STIFF THEY ARE AND THE ADJUSTABILITY THEY GIVE!
I have NO complaints! The first one I bought… I think I BROKE the belt! Lol. Yes actually BROKE the belt itself! That belt got abused for 3yrs… I think it earned its stripes!

With my 3yrs of EVERYDAY use? It’s earned my continued business!

thanks for the info.always had problems with my belts, just bought the kore

It may be sticking because of pressure. Try pushing in on the belt a bit before you sweep the lever. It doesn't solve the tiny lever problem but I personally like that over the core.
