I've started taking your advice about 8 months ago. I have amassed about 200k points and am looking to redeem soon here. One question I have about all of this is what to do after you have achieved the minimum spend and the card is no longer than valuable to you... surely you can't just have 10+ cards where you are paying $100+ a year per card for the annual fees...

I use amex cobalt and I usually redeem points for fixed points travel to Asia (100, 000 pts). It is always or most likely more beneficial if I 1:1 transfer to Aeropoint and redeem there?
