This was the first time I’ve ever seen tilly really let go and just enjoy the dance. Don’t get me wrong, her acting has been good but I could always tell she was acting, whereas here it felt like she really embodied the character. Hands down the best she’s ever performed it was AMAZING well done tilly!

This was a street commercial couples choice, not a ballroom or a latin. It was synchronised and vivacious and there were no flaws, that’s why they got full marks.

If anyone didn’t like this, then they won’t like the Musical. This was an amazing recreation and I sure enjoyed it!

I really like the couples choice dances as it gives the couples a chance to show how good they are as an all round dancer. I think that's why people are hating on this dance though, because it's not latin or ballroom, its far from that very elegant world and THATS the point. It's supposed to be 'stompy'. She threw herself into this dance and as (I think Shirley?) said... she couldn't tell who was the pro. That's when you know it's worth 40. Stop comparing this dance to latin & ballroom and you realise it was bloody awesome!!

tilly deserved the 10s after weeks of being under marked, it definitely wouldn’t have gotten 40 if craig was there, but i’m so happy she got the score she deserved

Credit where credit is due. This was not an easy number and she nailed it. Fantastic. I think she has more to give. A dark horse.

Anyone who didn't like this just wouldn't like the musical (Matilda). This dance was super reminiscent of the choreography from the musical itself. It's in your face, a little over the top, and a little weird. I loved it.

If the challenge is to execute the style of the dance (couple's choice - so honestly if you are looking for ballroom and latin technique in this, then you're mistaken?) while honouring the song and the character of the musical - then they were spot on

I'll admit I didn't enjoy this as much as the judges and everyone else as I absolutely hated this song and just couldn't get past it, but it was really, really great to see this side of Tilly which she's never shown before; the energy, the attitude, her enjoyment and the power of the performance were all amazing. There was so much more of her in it than we've ever seen.
