Hello there I am making a map but have a problem with using @p. is there a way to make it so that the person that is pressing the button/lever activates the command and gets teleported no matter if there is a closer player to the command block? Because using @p results in multiple problems like my scoreboard gives points to the wrong person if they are closer to the command etc. also I can’t use their gamer tag because I want the command to work for everyone whenever the person activates it. this is very frustrating and annoying! 😭 a friend also told me that there was something known as @selector but it didn’t seem to work. Is @selector really a thing or false? please reply! Anything will help thank you!!

Ahh there's a lot of things wrong with this tutorial in terms of terminology, A. It's not that the instructions of distance are broad when you put in a only a number, but they are actually too specific, you need to be exactly two blocks away from that point from which you are checking. B. Your idea about the origin point of distance checking is specifically true for command blocks, because they are blocks, you check from that corner of the block.
