KOF 2000 - How to unlock Kula and Zero in Kawaks (easy)

To unlock Kula : Highlight Whip and press Start, *but do not hold it, then highlight Vanessa and again press start but *don't hold it, then Highlight Seth and again press Start again, Now highlight Maxima and press Start then on K' and press start , now the final thing is to highlight ? icon and press start then UP then Down ''and you will see Kula Appears below the *? icon in 2 secs ''

To unlock Zero : Enable ''3'' in Kawaks options (debug dipswitches) and then hold ''start'' and press down at the same time. Zero appears below Kula in 2 secs

So if I understand Zero haven't been made to be playable for players, but you can take it if you manipulate the game ? And if you can take it it's because the dev hide him just to test it ?

For some reason my select goes back to kyo it wont reveal kula can you help me
