Elton John Piano Medley

Hey people,

So, I'm back with another piano medley, this time with music from one of the greatest pop piano legends of all time - Elton John. I was a little hesitant to do it since you can't really do piano better than Elton, but I figured, hey why not - might as well throw a bunch of songs together and see what happens. And since there are so many great Elton songs - this turned out a little longer than I thought it would. If you can make it to the end without falling asleep or clicking on another video - congrats, I think you're the one person in the world without ADHD. Anyway, I really hope you enjoy the music. OMG! I am 47 and have played piano since I was 4. You have a God given talent. Don't listen to the negative comments. It's BEAUTIFUL and you are truly an inspiration to young players. Stay with it, I wish I had.

Elton John was the very first artists I listened to extensively and became an avid fan of. As a teenager in high school just a few years ago, I grew up listening to his music, even though I'm only 20 now. I have seen him twice in concert and he still manages to keep the entire audience transfixed. He is his own orchestra. You did an amazing job portraying his work here. Very well done.

I think a great choice of songs. Elton has written some wonderful music, and I agree it can seem hard to do them justice but justice I think you give them. You have a natural way of playing, and it’s always a pleasure to watch you play. I agree with another person, you do make it look so easy. I only play a little but, it’s so nice and uplifting to listen to good players as you. Thanks for the music.

I have loved my time as a Julliard gradute and playing medleys of all kinds..But now as I hear you play, I would change one tiny, tiny thing and that would be the speed at which you are switching songs. This is a great way to open and practice singing and with your accompaniment it is a great way to regain my breathe control etc. Just a beat slower, so the lyrics can be added. Beautiful...TY so much for this and all your other incredible medleys. Bravo!
