Man Sues His Blind Date. Wants Money Back.

Joseph Gamble is suing his blind date for ruining his movie going experience. Mr. Gamble claims that Ms. Triana was on her phone texting during their recent date and wants his money back. He also claims that she bad-mouthed him on social media following their encounter. Ms. Triana disputes his claims and states she already paid him back for the movie and maintains that as the man, he should pay anyway.

A blind date is a situation of - you pays yo money, you takes yo chances. He should be fined for wasting the courts time.

He should learn a lesson from this. Not everyone is compatible. My advice is that he should take blind and/or first dates out for a cup of coffee or tea and discuss core values, belief systems, attitudes, and behaviors to make certain there is a cultural alignment. Cutting his hair shorter and trimming his beard or shaving it off altogether would make him look more presentable. That would be investing in himself, not a complete stranger.

Judge made a fair ruling, EXCEPT that he should have ordered her to delete the tiktok. Calling someone out by name on social media just because you had a bad date is next level petty. Even if *most* of her followers didn't know him, THEIR friend group and social circle knew who she was talking about and she chose to embarrass him to everyone they know. Don't make her pay any money to him, but make her take down the tiktok and make an apology.
