Bought a 2008 prius with 160k miles for $3500 bucks right before the pandemic. 3 years later going strong at 230k miles. I thank god for japanese engineering.😊

Have a gen 2 ... 250k miles... Bought it 2019 at 190k miles... Dude said it was about to die... Sold it to me for 2500... Still going strong lol.

Im still lovin my 2005 Prius. Just hit 200k and everything is running smooth as a swiss watch. The previous owner swapped the big battery for a Dorman already so the mpg is a solid 40-50. Tons of rear seat space. Great trunk/hatch with stow/tools/spare area. Just got two new tires. She needs an alignment and i need to change the trans fluid since i doubt its ever been flushed or changed. No timing belt to worry on, the chain will last to 500k+ miles. Changing the transaxle fluid is as straightforward as an engine oil change, albeit with a couple oddball tools needed for hex fasteners. Oh, I changed the two front brake pads for the first time in the vehicle's life at about 196k. 😂😂 So besides regular, inexpensive maintenance, this car needs nothing. Oil and filter is $25 from walmart. Trans fluid is only $25 also. Dont need Toyota brand trans fluid. The red bottle valvoline multi vehicle works.

This Prius’ design stands above the previous generations. It looks like something alien-like, perhaps a spaceship. Definitely loving the interior design too, including the front display’s details.

Much better looking than the last one and 196 hp is damn impressive for a Prius. Finally a Prius with pickup power. That’s double the power of a Prius c, or the iconic gen 2 Prius. It’s even more than the base 4cyl Camry and Corolla. And way more efficient.

Exterior looking good, interior still see some cheap-made plastics, but overall big improvement for the Prius model
