Is it true that you wouldn't get them even if you gained a lot of weight, if your skin was just elastic enough?

I have stretchmarks on the top of my shoulder and on my forearms from getting hit in the forearms by lacrosse sticks so much but i cant feel them. This on the other hand look painful as shit. Dude litterly has like a 2 inch gap between his skin, I genuanly think he should see a doctor for that.
