Chevron Tahiti

Tahiti is Chevron's largest project in the Gulf of Mexico, undergoing a $2.3 billion expansion. Located 190 miles south of New Orleans, the deepwater project is tapping an oil reservoir below 32,000 feet of sea and earth. The Houston Chronicle visited the project in October 2012.
