Alex looks like a stereotypical mad scientist

You are right I'm an Electrical/Software Engineer and this was a job pitch... She has been there for 10 years shows me they value grey matter more than looks, looks happy interviewing the boss. You get to wright code that actually gets used, best software, challenging, stock compensation for employees. Alex is twitching awkward swinging... I love all of that. If you told me he cant tie his shoes, id loved him more. The best Engineers are artists and he looks like Picasso. Love u Tom Long Tesla & PLTR

As a former long time employee whose tenure began during the company's massive expansion phase in 2012. I've always held that the Palantir's future is very bright.

Hey Tom, I watched the full Palantir video when it first came out n I must say, you highlighted a few points that I did not notice while I watched that video n what you said made a lot of sense, n I agree with you. Hats off to you man! 👍

As a software engineer, he was definitely speaking to other developers to attract talent. Attracting top talent is what will push the technology even further. Good call Tom.

I watched the entire interview and was VERY impressed!

Although not currently invested, I already liked what I'd learned about the company and Alex but I was left even more impressed after this. Alex's authenticity came across very clearly... no BS, no spin, just told it straight!

That said, it's done nothing to change my opinion of PLTR as an investment at this point. The one sticking point for me is the very high level of stock compensation. As I've said here before, this is not meant as a criticism.... on the contrary, I think what Alex is doing is great for the company and its hard-working developers. It's just that this is causing significant dilution, which is not so good for outside shareholders.

I'll continue to watch (closely) from the sidelines for now, hoping that one day I'll be able to justify jumping in here. If I have to pay much more, that's just fine... so long as I like the look of the the risk/reward profile, I'm ok with that.

I find his swaying oddly calming and hypnotic. I think he's accessing data from our brains and we don't even know it or care ❤️

He following the same strategy as Tesla in that Autonomy, Battery & AI days were really designed as recruiting events rather than investor events.

I work at an incumbent company, as a security guard, that has been around since the 1800s. Won't give the name, but they work in electronics technically. Because of this I get to speak with a VP/finance executive, whom I knew from a previous job, pretty regularly and ask their insight on things. He's started at the company in the mid 80s and was a finance and computer science major.

We can't even go in depth about the coding classes I've done because things have changed so drastically since then. Palantir would probably be the culmination of that disconnect between generations because it really is hard for either of us to understand the technicals and how advanced this company is. We talk blockchain all the time though. And graphene. He believes graphene is the future of batteries, charging and wide spread transfer of power. If they can actually find a way to mass produce it of course.
