Matt Ridley discuses the flaws within the Scientific Peer Review process, fighting confirmation bias, and potential solutions to fix the problem within the Scientific Peer Review process. Matt Ridley spoke on the Vance Crowe Podcast June of 2020

Lord Ridley is back! He has a new book out "How Innovation Works: And Why It Flourishes in Freedom" and he tells me all about how peer review has broken down, how Europe got the potato and why kings would ban coffee houses (to stop gossip). Also we talk about the Dicamba ban on soybeans. It was a fun interview!

Peer review without the consideration of the human element of greed and life demands being seduced by political agendas is illogical .
Peer review has become scientism

Vance, I dare suggest not including disparate topics in a single video. Peer Review & VR headsets is an almost laughable example of such disparity

Viscount Ridley you are no scientist and you know it very well, you’re a Northern Rock Banker with extreme confirmation bias.

Anything I’ve seen from you assumes a position and you seek (highly dubious) data to fit that position rather than, as science demands, using data and facts to develop, test, and refine a theory.
