On April 29, 2023, Serj Tankian took the stage at the sold-out majestic Soraya Theater in Los Angeles for the world premiere of hisInvocationsmusical program. Flanked by four world class vocalists at either side and backed by full orchestra and choir, the epic concert was recorded live and is now available for pre-order on limited edition autographed vinyl.

Invocations is an operatic suite that can best be described as music that calls on spirits to co-inspire or inter- inspire. Spanning over a decade of his career from different sources and backgrounds, this is music that plays on the deepest heart strings of the listener at a tempo that sets the heart to rest and the spirit to wander. Sonically, the 15 compositions comprising Tankian’sInvocationsweave symphonic and cinematic musical styles with plenty of emotional swells along the way.

I am very pleased to be part of a marvelous project that you composed, Serj Tankian. When my professor announced that we were going to be part of "Invocations" and premiere at The Soraya, my middle school self was excited to be on board.
