The problem with EEAAO. Is the timing of it's inception and release. Disney has killed the multiverse trope. And Hollywood is so woke. Nobody feels obligated to see anything, even if it has decent word of mouth. It takes a special individual to persuade a people, to see something with such played out tropes.
This movie has woke stuff in it. It's got this, I'm ashamed of my gay daughter plotline. That in literally any other decade prior to 2010. Might've actually been interesting.
The newest Spiderverse movie has a whight cop pulling a gun on his own daughter. That's the part that takes my suspension of disbelief out back. And shoots it right in the head. And the whole scene is just a allegory for "coming out" to your parents. We live in a time where parents already half expect their kids to get brainwashed by the internet or indoctrinated by the schools/college institutions. We know why that bogus scene was made. And that's why I didn't bother with seeing that movie. That and the tran kids poster bs.
*Leave the Kids Alone* That's my stance. They don't need gender reassignment surgeries or hormone pills from big pharma or idiot pronouns. Let them be themselves. Let their parents teach them about the world. When did kids learning about Gay sex, supercede learning Cursive?
