A southern Arizona sheriff says he plans to stop shipping containers from being stacked at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Santa Cruz County Sheriff David Hathaway says that for the last four days, protesters have been showing up at the border, preventing crews from constructing the makeshift barrier.

Hathaway says he supports those protests, and calls Governor Ducey's order to use shipping containers as a border wall "illegal dumping."

It's not Illegal Dumping, it's Container Migration and Asylum.

When the illegals come through your land. We don't want to hear about it.
It's said that a sherriff is not wanting to protect his people. So sad.

We The People

The illegal migration occurring at out southern border is at record levels, crime is at record levels, I support Ducey's last ditch effort at securing our southern border.

Protect your homes, protect your families, recall this sheriff. We The people need to make it clear, we are done putting our safety and our needs second to the thousands of illegals that the federal government will do nothing about. Don't let one power mongering sheriff get away with it. Remind this sheriff just how little power he actually has.

He will arrest those securing the border, but not those violating the border.

Recall him. He's a nobody. Majority rules and not just the wealthy bribe paying smugglers. No sheriff has jurisdiction on federal land. He damn well knows that.

He didn't say anything about arresting for other crimes being committed on that land, such as human smuggling, drugs...

He needs to be lock up for stopping the wall and aiding and abetting drug actions

Illegals crossing is illegal dumping too.

This is the sheriff is the sheriff of the county with the most drugs coming through Arizona's border, If that tells you anything. They find a drug tunnel every other week in Nogales. You would think he would be for any way to help stop the flow of drugs through his county but he isn't. Thats very telling

Arrest the Sheriff for interference in a Federal Government project, on Federal land the Sheriff has very little say to what The Federal Government is going to do.if he does arrest anyone he can also be put up on charges.
I used to be a contracted Federal Government employee highway division
And the only ones that could arrest n Federal land or federal employees is the National Police and FBI or CIA. Let that sheriff try to touch any of. Those Federal Contractors and his world will come crashing down.

Voting got off to a glitchy start in Maricopa County on Tuesday morning because of widespread issues involving the machines that count voters' ballots.

All of the county's 223 voting locations opened on time, but an hour into the election, voters and poll workers at some sites started reporting issues with tabulators. Initially, officials estimated that about 10% of polling places were experiencing problems.

That estimate got raised to 20% and then 30% of the county's voting locations before officials found and fixed the issue — timing marks that had been printed on ballots
