Desmos Calculator Tips (ep 4): Digital SAT Strategy Guide

The digital SAT comes with a built-in graphing calculator. Even if you've used graphing calculators before, Desmos is a unique interface that has lots of great features. I'll cover the most important tools so that you can efficiently eliminate algebra (and algebra mistakes) from much of your process.

NOTE: None of the sample questions in this series are from the official practice tests on the Bluebook app. You can watch all episodes without spoiling any of the practice tests.

For the second question, you can do 2 equations like y = sqrt(31-10x) and y = sqrt((x-4)^2) and it will show you the intersection points. Surprised you don't know this, sir!

Was the old SAT pay to win because if you had a graphing calculator (Ti-84) you could do a lot better and faster than people with a normal one.

IF YOU TAKE 7 AS COMMON FACTOR IN DENOMINATOR IT CANCELS WITH NR LEAVING FRACTION AS 3/(X²+8) COMPARING IT WITH 3/X²+K IT IS OBVIOUS K=8 .BUT VISUAL PICTUURE IS ABSENT WHICH DESMOS GIVES. tHANKS DEAR.
