CLT Compartment Fire Tests for Fire Safety Challenges of Tall Wood Buildings Phase 2 — Joseph Su, Principal Research Officer, National Research Council Canada
A series of full-scale cross-laminated timber (CLT) compartment fire tests were conducted for the Fire Protection Research Foundation’s research project on fire safety challenges of tall wood buildings. This research provided a large amount of test data to quantify the contribution of exposed CLT elements to compartment fires. Test results will be presented.
