This incredible early song was recorded at 914 Sound Studios, Blauvelt, NY on January 30, 1973. It is variously referred to as "The Story Of The Self-Loading Pistol" and "Shootout In Chinatown", and variations thereof. This song is and early example (one of many) of Bruce's life-long fascination with the old west. Originally recorded during the Wild, The Innocent, and The E Street Shuffle sessions.
