Hate to say this....but a base GT with a whipple isnt a Ford made the previous gen GT350 and GT350R they were lightweight track specials focused on dynamics and a great engine not stupid power and idiotic mash of parts. The supersnake was a hit, this is just a cash grab and I hope it doesnt sell.
Edit: I also seem to remember that the original '65 GT350 was meant to be a track special for handling and grip, not crazy horsepower.

I understand the coyote is a great platform, but I wish Shelby would use different engines even if they’re the same platform ie. the voodoo and predator. I love my gt500 because it doesn’t sound like every coyote mustang. Engine was hand built and signed that’s what makes them so unique. If I wanted a supercharged coyote I’d just buy a GT and supercharge it for less. Yeah it won’t have the badges but it’d have the exact same power and make the same exact noises. I’m a die hard Shelby fan and soon my 11’ Shelby will be paid off and I’ll get me a 20’ (just gotta get over the fact they don’t come in a manual) so I’m not hating this car is beautiful just my opinion.

Real question is how much? If it's more than 100k just get a PP and Whipple/tire package for 15k above GT MSRP. Save yourself 30k, you just won't have the plastic emblem. Sad to see the state of Shelby now 😢

Can someone shed some light on the differences between this new GT350 and the Super Snake from last year? Power outputs are similar, and since it sounds like both cars start their life as a ford mustang GT/DH I'm curious what the differences between the two ended up being?

Kinda sad. The owners of Shelby America capitalizing on the name. Real GT350s are built by the Ford Motor Company. This is lipstick on a ford mustang GT. Ain’t the same. Resale value will be nothing.

After seeing this I won't be selling my 2017 GT350 anytime soon...the 2025 GT350 is NOT a true GT350. Ford should be ashamed of themselves for releasing this model, seems like a cash grab for some updated badging and a Whipple supercharger = WRONG!
