This is one of the very rare supercar designed by a real experienced designer. I have been working in the automotive design industry and I have seen most of the modern cars are designed by young junior designers who have fancy lovely illustration skills. In fact, the whole project is lead by the chief designers who are mostly on politics and paper works. I am happy to see such an awesome project came to life.

You mention that Gordon Murray is the designer of the McLaren F1 road car. What an understatement. He is also the designer of F1 World Constructor and Driver Championship cars. Probably the most successful F1 designer of them all.
