Excellent comparison of two well-regarded Sony mirrorless cameras. Thank you for mentioning and demonstrating the difference between the tilt-up-only limited articulation of the A7iii screen and the tilt-and-flip full articulation of the Sony A7iv. For solo shooters and YouTube content creators, fully articulated screens (tilt-and-flip) on cameras like the Sony A7iv and the Sony A7Siii are greatly appreciated.

Great comparison Jake! As somebody owning an A7iii, an A7C, and an A7S3, I am still tempted by the A7IV.... But my rational mind tells me that there is hardly a reason to justify buying it... Hi jake buying the A7iv I have option for 600 more to upgrade from the sony kit lens 28-70 to the tamron - mainly using for filming on youtube. Be interested in a comparison between kit lenses if you have them and any views if it's really worth that extra to upgrade when I buy the cam

Looking at picking up an A7iv. It will be my first camera that isn't a cell phone or a drone . I have watched all of your recent videos about possible lens combinations. Wondered what your thoughts are on the kit lens that comes with the A7iv. Is it any good or should i save the couple hundred dollars and get body only and invest that in better glass? I am Canadian. Think it is exactly 200 dollars difference between kit version compared to body only. Thank you Jake

hello my friend good video. I have a question; I just bought the sony a7iv and I am wondering why when ir recoding 30p 4k 4.2.0 8bt it shuts down at 40 minutes recoding even with the high temperature on. I really don't know what's going on. it said that is too hot. at 30 minutes turn the warning lights on and at 40 minutes turn of. can you help me please? thanks in advance

God I wish I could afford the a7iv. It's my dream camera, for it to record without time limit as well as the new color science and improved autofocus, it's literally enough for me. Also the stabe is an added bonus!
