Issued by the National Weather Service in Shreveport, LA on 3/28/14 at 6:49 PM CDT (7:49 PM EDT).

Issued for the following counties in Texas: Angelina, Nacogdoches, St. Augustine, Shelby, Cherokee, Panola, Rusk until 7:45 PM CDT (8:45 PM EDT).

Issued for damaging winds and hail.

Ever since I was a little kid hearing these in the middle of the night scared the crap outta me

I have no idea why but this guys voice freaks me out. Like I could have nightmares over his voice. Yes I still looked the video up XD

It IS supposed to alert you. It tells you to *_listen_* to the following. I actually think knowing that there is a storm is way scarier than the sound.

I can't tell you how much I love hearing this sound at midnight and it feels like someone is in the house with you.

I was in Arkansas when this sound came on and I looked out side and saw a big supercell

Every time this came on, I would sprint to wherever it's being played weather it be a tv or a radio

When I graduated high school, in the summer time. I got one of these on my TV in the middle of the night, at like 1 AM it woke me up and scared the shit out of me

I get scared whenever this comes on, no matter where I am, even if it's for another location

I remember before when I was 6, thinking eas tones only came from phones. So one night, I heard a tone from my dad's phone, but I didn't care. Suddenly the TV changed, making the same noises and showing this. I almost pissed my pants

When I was 5 I was lying down at 2 am by myself watching tv cause I couldn’t sleep and a test with the beeping noise came on and scared me and my mom came out and turned it on and layed with me, I’m still terrified till this day
