Marvel would be so much cooler doing more street level stories now and focused on deeper topics.

He definitely played a great Human Torch but he is iconic as Captain America. Only when people dont understand Captain America do they think he is joke. Cap is one of the best characters of Marvel.

Chiklis as Ben Grimm/The Thing and Evans as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch was SPOT-ON casting and they both were awesome in those Tim Story FF movies!

Hot take: he never screamed Captain America. When I think Captain America I automatically think Chris Evans like I do Hugh Jackman for Wolverine. It’s impossible not to. So much time playing these characters that the name is with them forever but they never embodied the characters to me. But they’re rich now. Who cares?

i love the idea of them bringing him back in Secrets Wars as an alternate earth version of Johnny Storm. there could be a great moment where he shows up to save the day and everyone thinks hes Cap until he yells "flame on" and jets off the ground into the air on fire blowing everyones minds (including the newly announced MCU version of the Human Torch). it would he an incredible moment where not only do we see Evans return to the MCU but also return to one of (if not) his biggest preMCU roles...which is a role a lot of FF fans have been waiting to see him back in for years
