I just bought a brand new serie 6. It workes slightly differently, thought it wasn't in the manual but i had to turn the page. Mine works by turning the knob to the right one click, hold the spinspeed button and turn another click clockwise, you will enter the menu by releasing the button. Took me a couple tried to figure that one out. Thank you for making me check my manual again. Video liked.

Thank you! This helped me to figure out how to stop the beeping on a Siemens IQ700 Washing machine. Essentially the same process: Machine on, press and hold temp and start simultaneously, turn dial, release buttons. Menu options will appear. Side note: Part of Siemens is a wholly subsidiary of Bosch which is possibly aspects of their home appliances can look identical.

Fantastic! On my Serie 4 I had to turn it twice to get the beeping volume. On one turn only it was some other setting I couldn't figure out which was set to "15:00". Either way, all good. I don't mind beeping when it's finished, but it was beeping like every ten minutes for hours!

The beeping isn't just annoying it's intrusive, whoever made that sound should be tried for crimes against psychology. I hear it in my sleep, I hear it when the machine isn't on, it haunts me. It's the worst sound. Now it's getting muted thank god!

The beep at the end was the biggest turn off of the machine, glad it took me 6 years to finally disable it.

Bravo! Thanks a million. Also found out that if you turn one more step to the right, you have another volume shown. So one is for the „button“ beep and one for the end.

Thx a lot . This works for my siemens iQdrive 500 ! The documentation for this latter is wrong… probably same engine for the Bosch and Siemens.
