As a New Yorker, I appreciated this movie. They didn't depict Manhattan all enhanced and expanded like some superhero movies. Everything was in proper scale and had the right ambiance.

I feel like Clover is just the monster version of "fearing the unexplained/unknown." Like, not only are we never fully told what they are or where they came from, we are also never fully shown what they look like or even how big they are, only a rough idea. Those aspects alone make them terrifying

This is honestly the absolute most scariest giant creature video I've ever seen. The screams of the monster sounds so enormous and real. That scene where the military is first bombard it in the city is just terrifying. Literally nowhere is safe.
