This demo was like magic back in the day. To have this long 'actual video' on one floppy and Amiga running it was purely an amazing feat of technology in my teenage eyes - and still is.

God I miss the days of Amiga demo's, I remember being blown away by the compression algorithm to get this much video on a standard disc. This is Talent and whoever done the compression algorithm needs a gold medal.

All squished down onto an 880k floppy disc. Genius.

Ram and storage was expensive and limited in those days, so tight, efficient code was highly valued. We could really use a return to that mindset...

I've been looking for years!!! Music and something that fascinated me the most about this demo; How much video material was stored on one 880 KB disk. The data was loaded, without interruptions, thanks to Amiga multitasking. Great production. I ripped the module with Action Raplay MK3. I still have this ripped MOD. A very small file. Some tricks were used to get a good effect with low memory cost. Short looping etc... PS. How was the image digitized? I suppose they used PC or MAC. At that time, there was no device for such a process on the Amiga. Unless the video material was grabbed, frame by frame, with video-grabbers, but...

How the fuck did they do that. Amazed me back in the day and still does.

Imagine this demo today, with 4K, 120 FPS video with true color, high quality music and maybe even VR experience... It would be boring as hell. Like a repainted Sistine Chapel.

Hell yeah, one of the best. Wasn't the floppy drive even doing some funky sounds when loading this up?

The only similar attempt on ATARI ST in the nineties is called VISION and it's pretty nice yet it lasts a bit less than a minute :(

I wonder if Papa Smurf knows that some ripoff label is monetizing this. I would have reported the leech myself, but apparently I can only report copyright infringement if I'm the one whose copyright is being infringed.

I've heard this is one of the few Amiga demos that can actually run on NTSC (As in North American) Amiga computers. Is this true?
