New American Grand Tour GC Hope?

I thought this was a pretty cool break out performance by AJ August. He's young but he rode away from some serious competition (including former world tour guys). He has the power, he did well in the TT, I think the sky is the limit. I also think he's on a really nice trajectory, not rushing things, and I'm sure learning from Magnus Sheffield who comes from his home town. Definitely remember the name!

I got smoked by him a few years ago in a local road race. He was also dominating our CX scene as a young teen. He's going to be good. Same hometown as Magnus Sheffield so the Ineos connection is there.

Stage 3 was the difference. More TT time on the bike, wind tunnel time… that would have made it so much more spicier going into the last stage! I need another Xanax!
