Love my ASUS RT-AX86U Pro. Fits great on the desk and doesn’t take up a ton of real estate and handles whatever is thrown at it.

I just bought an Asus AX86 Pro a week ago and it's been great. Plus Asus recently released the firmware version for that this model that let's you setup VLANs from the web UI.

Have GT-AC-2900 and purchased a AX-3000 based on your previous recommendation. Set up a mesh from unattached garage to computer room and it’s working Great. Thanks!!

I have the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro. I chose that one because of the 10GB WAN port and the 2.5 GB LAN port (which I have connected to a 2.5 GB switch). It's a quality product. Works well and is also connected to two ZenWifi AX Mesh nodes). Recommended.

I use AX56U with Merlin, it serves me great at budget.

Amazing work thank you, I still have the Asus ac86u running Merlin, as one other person said wait for WiFi7 ( as wifi6 routers could be lower priced) I'm a little concerned about eol... As for the likes of ax86u pro... No information out there how long routers are supported for, I'd be happy to know if anyone knows of this info

Yes i confirm that Asus ax86u pro is the best one so far, after trying different routers this Asus was the one I chose and I recently added Asus ax53 as media bridge which it works great 😊

Hi, I'm not professional in routers. I use the internet for working from home, streaming movies, security camera, and some gaming. I can't afford more than $250+ USD. I would like to get your advice on reliability, constant speed, which one is better among these: (Please let me know your ranking on these 4 and if you recommend something else). Please include your affiliate think so I can help too. Thank you.

1. Asus ROG Rapture GT-AX6000
2. ASUS RT-AX86U PRO
3. TP-Link AX3000
4. ASUS RT-AXE7800

I was curious what you consider as a large home. Personally, my TP-Link AC1750 with 1 additional mesh node seems to do fine in my 2000 sq ft house. It still does fine in spite of having numerous Echo dots, Roku's, a dozen smart switches, a half dozen computers and phones on WiFi, and a couple of EVs also on WiFi. Nothing 4K and no gaming.

Hi, what about the asus rog ratpure GT6 pair. If wanting wifi in extend into the garage, yard and out building wouldnt this be a better choice for the prices $420.00 ? Purchansing 2 RT-AX86U Pro s to cover that size of area would exceed the price of the GT6

The only thing I don't like about Asus advance features are that they are not executed onboard, but vector out into a Cloud service.

I opted for the ROG Rapture gt-ax6000, I have never seen a wireless device hit speeds of over 900mbps until I bought this router. I don't see the point of tri-band when you are only on wifi 6, and your number 2 and 3 picks do not have multi-gig Lan. The ax11000 pro is about $1000aud and the ROG Rapture was $330aud on Amazon. It didn't make sense to pay $700 for an extra band.

What about ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 WiFi 6E ? I'm using that as my current Mesh network with 2 of these, why isn't it on your list, you used to make a ton of videos on it and because of you i purchased them for my home

Honestly not a good time to upgrade. If u can just wait for wifi 7 to become affordable

I have the ASUS 11000 and haven't been impressed with its low performance with our Gigabit internet. the ASUS 16000 is much better for just a few hundred more plus its quadband.
