In the dystopian landscape of London in 2091, a male and a female service android find themselves marooned in an apartment following the city's evacuation. I made this film as a metaphor for our human experience: that relationship you should move on from, that job you need to let go of, that jump of faith you're delaying. Did you catch these undertones? How much time are you willing to wait?

The sun comes out every day...in London? I think she's been inside too long. Seriously, well done Eugenio, cast and crew. I'd love to know more of SHE's story. What lies ahead...? 👏👏👏

I like the subtlety of this and how it’s not dependent on blatant action scenes. It’s quite a philosophical piece and makes you think. The ‘less is more’ visuals give just enough to make you want to see more and see this as a full film.

So robots value property above people. Then a rogue robot values itself above its directives. What could possibly go wrong? Maybe that is why all the people ...disappeared.

I feel like this is a message of hope regardless of the lifeform (robot or human). It's almost as if the message is "the show must go on". As long as the sun comes up.

So strong a little story! For the question "What do you expect to find?" I thought she would answer "Myself". But she showed it. Thanks to all creators of this movie!

That guard's work ethic reminded me of the dish Washer's Creed. "Ours is not to reason why, ours is but to wash & dry". LOL

I like the way you subtly captured the emotional undertones, i felt scared for her when she left to explore the unknown, but I also felt lonely at those left behind where nothing ever changes.

Was almost hoping She said the ones that gave the orders could not possibly be alive 100 years later so we don't need to follow those orders.

Loved the opening shots. The silence, the emptiness.

It seems to be a metaphor for the bumbness of blind obiedience when it conflicts with reality. I liked it.

I think that it's a miracle that this female robot was able to go against her programming and think for herself.

I can only give my opinion on this film....for every service being given there's always a main reason why is followed! We teached our kids to obey, if they know the reasons why, their attitude to comply is well displayed! "She" humanoid seviced it to that degree!

Great film! And yes the subject of moving on is very clear. I especially love how the “sentries” stick blindly to their orders/jobs/relationships as if the already ended world will end even more if they were to peruse their dreams.

Although I get the underlying messages and similarities of our own lives and existence but I feel that this short film could certainly pave the way for a longer foray into a possible future for these, "Guardians". Nice work!

There's plenty here to be curious about. Why did the people abandon the cities? Where did they go, and why didn't they come back? It seems clear they intended to come back or why have the androids protect their homes? Why did they leave their androids behind? What will she discover in her explorations? Will she find out what happened to the humans? So plenty of reasons to be curious for more. :)

Although the situation is different, this reminded me so much of Sartre's play "Huis clos" ("No Exit"). That's where the famous line "L'enfer, c'est les autres" ("Hell is other people") came from.

Excellent. I'm somewhat fond of endings that leave the audience talking about what happened next.
