Our pigeon was paper trained. Anytime he pooped where we didn't want, we could clean it up right away and he would watch us. After about a month he started doing his business on a piece of cardboard we'd laid out for him. They're incredibly intelligent little creatures.

My father, for many years, bred and sold birds, as well as had various birds as pets. He had a parrot that spent much of her time on a perch in our house. He trained her to poop before he took her from the perch. He would say "Shazam!" And she would know what to do! 😂😂😂😁

Love it. I poop trained my green cheek. He knows that if he tells me (via body language) that he needs to poop, I'll take him to a proper poop place, and say "Do your duty" and he'll poop and get a lil treat for being a good pooper

I make these for my ducks who, unlike pigeons and many other domestic birds, can't be potty trained due to the way their digestive system is set up. Love them.

They are safe my foster mom has used them for years! She has a two parrots and they love to be on her shoulder but she doesnt like cleaning bird shit off her shoulders constantly. So she bought one of these almost 10 years ago i want to say. We use it constantly inside the house and outside the house. Always a funny experience taking rio with this bird diaper on outside 😂 i remember we went camping years ago. Rio was on my foster moms shoulder and we went into a mcdonalds to go to the bathroom and buy some lunch. When people noticed rio they always got a huge smile on there face. And they definitely got a laugh when they realized he had a bird diaper on 😂

I definitely think it varies from pigeon to pigeon obviously. The bird in this video seems calm and just fine. He doesn't seem bothered by it at all and shows no distress whatsoever. I think this is so sweet! Pigeons are underrated! Your doing great! This is so cute to of course.
