This event sounds pretty cool. I figured that we'd get Mega Kangaskhan after that initial announcement video for the update, but it's still pretty neat. It's a nice way to give everyone a chance for Mega Energy and a regional Pokemon. The Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day sounds really good too. I hope that they'll do something similar for Mega Heracross. I have a Heracross with perfect stats, so getting Mega Energy for its Mega Evolution would be quite helpful.

I planned to use my premium passes when the weather trio or Mewtwo returns, but increased shiny rates for Kangaskhan and earning Kangaskhan energy on top sounds like a good deal to me. Can't wait to see such an event for Heracross in the far future.

I feel like Mega Kangaskhan is a really good idea for a raid day. Having mega raid days with the new mega system would be really cool imo, since it lets you stock up on energy while having that sweet 1/10 shiny chance!

1:25 I'm going to grind this weekend to get enough Mega energy for each species for at least one Mega Evolution. Just Aerodactyl and Absol are left.

This is great! I've been best buddying all my Megas but I didn't have any Blastoids mega energy. The research today gave me the energy I needed to get my level 50 best buddy Blastoids to evolve for the first time. BTW I really like your succinct updates - always useful.

There has also been a change in how much mega energy it takes to evolve some Pokémon for the first time, I know gyarados and altaria have gone up to 300 and manectric slow bro and houndoom have gone down to 100

according to poke genie it says my mega evolved guys are up at lvl 52

Hey Poke Daxi. Some things you might want to look at is the price of how many Mega Energy you use for the first time.
Apparently, some Pokemon were now 100 candy, some stayed at 200 BUT some when up to 300 candy to mega evolve for the first time!(Gyarados is a example)
