This was Elvis Heartfelt and Powerful Tribute to Dr Martin Luther King Jr after his Assasination in Memphis Tennessee where Elvis Lived. It is Based on the message of MLK's "I Have A Dream" Speech, it also honored the Memory of Robert F Kennedy who was also Assasinated during the same time period. This was a Turbulent time in America 🇺🇸 with the Civil Rights Movement Protests and Riots against Vietnam War and it seemed as if the Country was being torn apart and Elvis wanted to bring a message of Hope and Unity to the Nation. So this Song was written for him with this in mind.
