Same thinking as you: want to play Anomaly/GAMMA but decided to start from the beginning and work my way through the maps and lore, and experience Stalker as it was intended. Buying the 3 game bundle also supports the Devs. Running Starter Pack as only mods on SoC even though on RTX 4090. Currently in Agroprom. Also good to hear that Stalker 2 is due in 2024.

Thank you for making this. I tried to get into the game but the mixture of poor weapon mechanics, outdated textures, and a bug that made my game crash when I tried to load any save files made it very difficult to get into. It's a nightmare trying to find the right mods online when you don't know what you're looking for.

Yes it is! Play the Trilogy then go premium with anomaly with gamma.

Imho, the best way to experience SoC for the first time is vanilla, maybe with a FoV and headbobbing fix if it makes you naucious.

Cool video. I feel like 99% of Westerners don't care at all about the Zone, it's lore, or the setting - and they just blaze on into the sandbox mods. SoC with ZRP is how I started playing, and I'm so glad I did. So yeah - cheers for reminding people that they can play with a few mods that really only help make the game a bit more comfortable, and good on yas bringing up ZRP. ...and you're into Doom as well, what a gamer.
