That makes no sense. Just because they didn’t wanna do a remake, doesn’t mean they didn’t care for Bob.

People need to remember that actors don't have to do what the public wants. They are people, not puppets in a show. If they just didn't want to be in something that's their choice, no one has the right to tell them that they are awful because of it

They don’t owe anything to anybody. Hollywood put them through a lot . That Oprah interview was still disturbing. Mary Kate and Ashley have their own lives. Just let them live.

People don’t understand the stress the Olsen twins must have felt. As adults, we get tired of going in to work every day. The Olsens were committed to a job without their consent before they could even speak. They were forced to play roles when they didn’t even have their own identity yet, and had their whole life on display to please others. I imagine all of that definitely took a toll on their mental health.

Full house is a tv show, Bob Saget died in real life, why don’t people comprehend that? Freud exists in the real world

These girls don’t owe anyone anything. They attended the funeral and that was a great way for them to pay respect to someone they obviously cared about. I wish people can get a life and live their own life without telling others what they should or shouldn’t do. Like just have a seat already.

Bob Saget defended them when asked about their decision to not do Fuller House. He was close to them. He was close to pretty much everyone on the show.

That fact that they separated real life is genuine! They loved Bob and paid respect to him, not for the cameras!
And… they offered to provide their sister the opportunity to shine but folks wasn’t having it!
Let her get her shine! No one knows what she can give the show until she has the chance!

I wouldn't want any of my old jobs back, but that doesn't mean I dislike/reject all of my former coworkers. Why would people be surprised that they still had respect and affection for Bob Saget? They just didn't want to act anymore.

Shows class. The twins admitted they didn't feel confident as adults to go back to acting. I respect that.

Could you imagine being upset because someone grew up and decided they didn’t wanna do what they were forced to do when they were children

It always surprises me that Elizabeth is their YOUNGER sister. She seems older than them

Imagine being hated and ridiculed for rejecting something that would potentially make you feel uncomfortable.

They said in an interview that acting wasn't their dream. Make up and fashion is. Let's just say they made a good choice. Following your passion and dream is always a good choice. They did their part by showing up for the funeral.

I believe he was the only one who defended them and understood their decision not to come back

The fact their sister was willing to step in to fulfill the role is team player level greatness.

I wasn’t mad when they didn’t come back. I don’t understand why anyone would be mad. Honestly they seemed to have changed a lot and they probably wouldn’t have fit the whole vibe of the show anyways. But this video makes a great point of the fact they were so young when the show ended, they probably don’t feel too attached to any of their former costars. Plus they really did quit acting years before this spin off even happened.

Turns out the Olsen Twins are humans who can choose to say no.

They clearly said that they felt like performing monkeys and wouldn’t have wished this childhood on their worst enemy. Full house wasn’t a happy memory.

After hearing Jennette Mccurdy’s audiobook, I completely understand why they wouldn’t have wanted to. The Hollywood industry for children can be brutal and they have every right to refuse if they’re not comfortable returning.
