I Rebuild ROSENBORG Using ONLY NORWEGIANS

Once considered a Super Power in Norway, Rosenborg has not registered a league title since 2018.

The club boasts an impressive 26 league titles in its history but has fallen behind teams like Molde and Bodo/Glimt in the pecking order for Norwegian football.

Today we will be taking charge of Rosenborg to try and take them back to the top and perhaps even achieve some continental success but we will be doing this only using Norwegian players.

I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

Very enjoyable rebuild (bar my views on the amount of transfers). Seeing how some of the obscure leagues work is really interesting to see and is a nice change from the “oh it must be a top 5 league team” rebuild most want to see. 🤘

Tiresome(?) aside, nice rebuild :) Fun fact: Markus Solbakken is the kid of current RL national team manager Ståle Solbakken. I played against dad Ståle's then club Aalborg at Club la Santa on Lanzarote when we went there on a school trip back in 1999 (We were absolutely hammered by Aalborg, but we did beat Bolton U18 and some local players XI!) 😅

Fun to see a Norwegian rebuild. It's the league I follow in real life. As a Lillestrøm fan I don't have much sympathy for Rosenborg though. Lillestrøm would also have been a good choice for a rebuild. They had their most succesful period in the 70s and 80s. Their last league title was in 1989. The biggest rivalry is against Vålerenga, but Rosenborg is pretty big too.

Will you consider doing a video on the Portuguese side Vitória de Setubal? It’s one of the biggest clubs outside of the Big Three and in one of the biggest cities, but due to financial mismanagement they have fallen all the way to the fourth tier of Portuguese football. Considering of how few clubs have won, they may require a ten year rebuild to finally crown themselves as Portuguese champions.

RFecently I rebuild a lower League Swedish team with only scandinavian players, but unfortunately had to exit as the board was not increasing my wage budget nor my transfer budget even though I won the league and played european football. Great Rebuild as always, though!

Im playing with Brann in Norway. In my first season Molde ended up at the bottom of the league and got relegated. Was quite weird

Great video. Thought I'd just mention how to pronounce Sverre Helseth Nypan.
Sverre - Don't say "Swerry". The second "e" should sound the same way as the first "e", not "ee".
Halseth - Prounounced "Hal-set". Forget the english "th" at the end.
Nypan - Don't say "Nie-pan".The "y" should be pronounced like in "yolk". Imagine Cristiano Ronaldo's
