I just want to back this battle up with proof, from the comics:

Raw Strength: Superman is known for accomplishing incredible Herculean feats of strength. Superman has shown 9 moon level & planters level feats of strength. He held back the moon against an ancient force that was causing the moon to fall into Earth. He has pulled the Earth alongside Green Lantern, as previously mentioned before Wonder Woman & Martian Manhunter. Pulled the Earth alongside Wonder Woman & Green Lantern in a different scenario. He’s moved the Earth into the phantom zone. He moved both the Earth & Moon. Then more recently he was able to bench press the Earth for 5 days and only barely broke a sweat. Alongside Martian Manhunter, he prevented Braniacs ship from crashing into the Earth & Brainacs ship absolutely dwarfs the Earth. I think it’s safe to say that Superman has planters level strength and probably multi-planet level strength.

Striking Power: Superman has gone up against some of the most powerful beings in DC Universe. He had knocked out Mongol with just a few punches, he’s knocked out Earthman with just one punch, He knocked out Wonder Woman one punch & with that one punch me sent her from the sun all the way to the Earth with just one punch, he’s able to poke through empirics probes by himself & was a being who was able to overpower the Justice League. That’s just naming a few. Superman has been able to injure beings such as Darkseid, Doomsday, Braniac & plenty more. Superman has even been said before, that he’s able to through a punch hard enough to split apart the moon or shutter planets. He had punched health enough force that the punch was felt from the centre of the Earth to the edge of the atmosphere. He punched Bizarro all the way up to the moon & actually through the moon. Superman has completely shattered a planet by jumping off it. Cracked half a moon from one of his punches. He’s split a small moon near Saturn completely in half.

Durability: Superman takes attacks head on & come out the other side with no damage. He’s been kicked across the entire state of Utah & landed in Colorado, then punched from Metropolis to China, went from California to Tokyo, been thrown out of the moon & has been hit to the moon on several occasions. He has taken planters destruction multiple times. While weakened in a pocket universe without a yellow sun, Superman was slammed into a planet with enough force that the shockwave went out and dwarfed the planet in comparison. He had his mind swapped with Bizarro, so Supermom ended up punching his own body to the Earth and he actually came out the other end smiling about it. Submit the claw of horse which draws by the mimic of field of Earth. Basically he was getting hit by the planet itself. He has even taken punches from Superboy Prime flown through a field of Kryptonite debri flown through a red sun & kept fighting. Superboy Prime is also a Multiversal level threat. He survived the collision between apocalypse & genesis in a subsequent explosion & these 2 planets are much bigger than the Earth. It was even confirmed by the Spectre & Zeus that they dwarf entire GALAXIES.

Travel Speed: When it comes to getting from point A to point B Superman takes it. I mean Superman has flown from the edge of the Universe back to Eart in just 60 days. The observable universe is 93 billion light years across meaning it would take light 93 billion years to get across there & Superman did it in 60 days. He was even capable of momentarily keep up with Flash (Barry Allen) & Kid Flash (Wally West.) He has even outpaced light ray a new god who is fast enough to circumnavigate apocalypse thousands of times in a moment & as previously mentioned apocalypse absolutely dwarfs Earth to the point where Earth is the size of lake on apocalypse.

Combat Speed: When it comes to combat speed, I’ll definitely give this one to Thor. But Superman has reacted to both The Flash & Kid Flash who can move faster than the speed of light. He is able to think faster than light speed. He can measure time in microseconds, nanoseconds & attoseconds. Wonder Woman is known to be faster at combat speed than Superman. But there’s been times when he was wanted to he had blitzed Wonder Woman, blitzed Ultraman (an evil version of himself), blitzed Zod (a guy who has the exact same powers as him), Ursa, Bizarro, Black Lantern Superman. He was able to land 4000 punches on Doomsday in an instant. He’s caught professor Zoom & The Flash before. There was also a time Superman was able to keep up with a ship travelling much faster than the speed of light and was able to scan the ship to make sure there was no life on board. So yes while Thor does have the edge in combat speed, I don’t see how that’s going to help. I mean if Superman can react to people on Flashes level I’m betting he can do the same with Thor

Stamina: The thing is the Super Saiyan forms are stated to put a strain on their body both manga & anime confirms this. In fact it’s not just Super Saiyan but Kamehamehas also drain Goku as well. Basically with all this combined going Super Saiyan 3 means that Goku is just a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. I mean when Super Saiyan 3 Goku fought Beerus he was only able to battle for a couple of minutes. There has been a number of times that Super Saiyan 3 form took to much key to use while alive.

On the other hand while Superman stays under yellow sun he’s got infinite stamina. He can also replenish this energy mid battle. In fact while Superman is in fight in other words the heat of battle he actually retains more solar energy from the sun than usual.

Conclusion: I do believe Goku has the power to destroy a plant, but I believe there’s a reason why he never has. He can’t breathe in outer space. So if he where to destroy a planet he would die. Even if there wear fighting on an indestructible planet I still don’t think it’s the smartest thing for Goku unleash a kamehameha blast because it will drain him so quickly. The Super Saiyan 3 form already takes a whole lot of energy to maintain. Throwing a planet busting blast in the mix is going to drain him even quicker. Now I’m not saying that Goku is not going to use these blasts because he will. But I believe Supermam could stand up to his blasts since he’s been able to stand up to Darkseids omega beams, he took omega beams from Darkseid when he was amped up, he withstood infinity man’s energy blasts that were said to kill new gods, he’s taken blasts from Mobius, he’s withstood an energy blast of Red solar energy that busted a whole 12 miles wide, survived the source wall explosion, withstood attacks from the from the void hound which destroyed 10 star systems in his test run.

Superman wins.

In a fight between these two titans, Superman's strength and invulnerability could help him gain the upper hand, while Thor's flight and lightning could even the odds. Ultimately, who would win depends on how the fight is fought, as both heroes are incredibly powerful
