Surgical scrubbing of hands.
Equipment: tap with running water, elbow pump with liquid soap, small sterile towels, elbow pump with antiseptic solution (Septocide P-Plus or 70% ethylic alcohol with chlorhexidine).

Algorithm of the manipulation:
1. Wash hands using liquid soap from the elbow pump during 1 minute.
2. Wash off the soap with the running water. Water must drain out from elbows.
3. Dry your hands using small sterile towels (from the fingertips to the elbows).
4. Apply antiseptic

4.1. If you use Septocide P-Plus
- Use 3 doses of antiseptic (each one about 3 ml, total volume – about 10 ml):
- the first scrubbing from the fingertips to the elbows;
- the second scrubbing from the fingertips to the middle third of forearms;
- the third scrubbing – only hands and wrists (according the EN-1500).

4.2. If you use chlorhexidine solution in 70% ethylic alcohol
- Use 2 doses of antiseptic (each one about 3 ml, total volume – about 6 ml):
- the first scrubbing from the fingertips to the elbows;
- the second scrubbing – only hands and wrists (according the EN-1500).
