Fun fact: AJ is the only one to defend the belt at Wrestemania. On top of that it was against literally the entire women's roster and she won.

AJ Lee is the undisputed No. 1 on the list.
There's one backstage promo that I particularly loved. Alundra Blayze was getting inducted into the HOF, and when asked, she said, "She's not a diva, she's a women's wrestler."

The fact that Gail Kim didn't win the belt is actually criminal. She deserved so much more than she got in WWE

I genuinely believe that without AJ Lee, the Women's Revolution wouldn't have happened. Maybe they would have gotten a chance later on, but she pushed the game forward by years and could have wrestled circles around most of the men in the locker room given the chance.

AJ's career is in some respects tragic as she was on her way out just as the women's revolution was about to begin. One of the biggest what ifs in history IMO. She quite literally was carrying that division for years and was the only relevant female in the entire company for some time. One of the best talkers in history. And I could even make the argument that her pipebomb was the greatest women's promo ever until Becky Lynch became "The Man" and starting lighting it up on the mic.

I love how i automatically know AJ is number one. Her influence and title reigns are way too monumental

AJ Lee was my favorite WWE Divas Champion when she defeated Kaitlyn in 2013 and held it until the *Raw After WM 30* in 2014, losing to "Anti-Diva" Paige. When she left, I part of my heart went out with her. Despite early beginnings, AJ Lee left her mark in the landscape of "Sport's Entertainment."

It's unfortunate how WWE basically tried to erase AJ Lee from their history after she left, mostly due to their sour gripes with CM Punk.

No doubt AJ Lee was ahead of her time, but kinda weird there hasn't really been anyone like her since

My favorite Diva's champion is AJ Lee. I looked up to her so much. Eleven-year-old me wanted to be exactly like her - she was tough and awesome in my eyes. I even begged my mom to let me get shoes like her. She would do so well in the roster now.

Maryse was the 1st two time champion, not Melina.

Honestly, I think the Divas belt is one of my favorites just because it has a unique design

AJ Lee being #1 is a no brainer.

I wish Paige had gotten to door more.

Mickie and Melina were underrated by WWE.

aj was the best divas champ imo i think tamina being by her side was not really needed but her run was great and paige beating her actually was cool and was a shock that didnt hurt aj while it boosted paige

Aj lee was the woman that really started the evolution in my opinion…

The top 3 are absolutely deserve their spot. AJ's pipebomb always be one of the best moment happens to make people realize that many female competitor want to step up their games, not just a Diva. Beth & Eve were the best one in 5 minutes era and decided to do Super Glamslam after creative reject their idea.

Eve even want a ladder match but it didn't happen... yes, she left the company to has family, but more reason is she feel WWE has the glass ceiling that she can't break. She decided to pass the torch to the next gen by pitch idea to creative to give Kaitlyn to win championship in Raw Big episode and it on her hometown (the original plan is she will hold the title longer around 1-2 PPV).

Damn right AJ is number one. When you think of that belt, you immediately think of her. She made it mean something. She was wonderful.
