TAKING YOUTUBES ADVICE, THIS IS A RE-RUN AND RETITLE OF THE ORIGINAL SERIES THAT WAS FILMED OVER THE INITIAL COVID YEAR.
A gardeners world; Nursery, gardens, propagation, plants galore and all the growing tips that go with them. A unique weekly documentary series filmed throughout 2020. A must for gardeners worldwide.
Informative, irreverent, funny and totally without comparison. After a lifetime in horticulture, Malcolm Hockham and his young team answer The Royal Horticultural Societies 2019 article that the industry is in crisis. Not here it isn't!.....Malcolms final full year on the nursery shows you why.

A very awkward week this....apart from the usual and unexpected problems the wheel of life on the nursery is coming full circle to where we began. Hopefully the viewer will still find something here to entertain and take away. We were reminded last week that our camera work needs to be better. I'm afraid I can't really do much about this, we aren't really that well versed in production methods, what you get is an old nurseryman and an iphone...perhaps if I decide to do more after this series and a bit of a break I will try to improve this. Hope everyone is well and not getting depressed about the situation we all find ourselves in....it's not easy I know.
Best wishes to all......Malcolm

Aww, I loved Malcolm’s poem. I know he sometimes gets a bit of bad press, but I could always tell he was a sweetie at heart. His kindness and depth of thought really came across in his poem. He’s probably a bit of a cuddle bug too, and often reminds me of a tufty old teddy bear.

"Village kids, their mothers pearls". Lovely poem! Certainly took me back to my childhood!

I have been watching these for some time, many more than once. I find them informative, amusing and soothing in what has been a very difficult year. In, short, I like everything about these vids. Thank you for making them! I hope after you retire Malcom you’ll make more about your garden renovation. Take care all!

Sorry to hear that Clara is ill, but so glad to hear she does not have Covid. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. You are right that every sniffle makes you wonder if you have the dreaded virus. I live on the US west coast, but about 300 miles inland. We had a taste of winter last Friday with 7" of snow. Then, temperatures dropped to -11C for two nights with highs around 0C. So, all our autumn color is now gone. Yours is absolutely beautiful! What a treat!

A third of the world's conifers? So very sad. Great video again despite the crap week. On to watch the next one now as I am a week behind.

Hi Malcolm and team. I just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed these videos each week. I've been much more adventurous with propagation after seeing how you do it. Thanks so much. I typically watch this on my TV with the YouTube App, so don't get to be able to Like or comment. My wife and I are English but have been living in the US for 40 years, now in the Seattle area.

Great news that Clara's test was negative Malcolm, what a relief. Hoping you and all of the team stay safe in these trying times.
What fabulous autumn colour in the gardens, I don't know if its just me, but the Acers in general seem to have put on a particularly brilliant display this autumn.
Just loving the videos. Take care all !!

Ah, Malcolm, just shake off the video criticism! We’re here for the info and beauty, not to critique your video skills!! Ignore this, I should have read comments first! Seems Fred was thinking the same thing. It’s hardy for me and available in U. S . A.!! 💕But I do want to know the name of the little crazy bush you showed at about 38:50 in the time stamp. You didn’t give it’s name and I love it! Gotta see if it’s here in U.S. and hardy in zone 5, Illinois. And thank you for the tour of the beautiful conifers!! But also enjoyed the JM’s fall coloring too! Thank you for all the time you spend doing these videos! Regina

It was good to see last Thursday Malcolm along with Thomas and Liz. Thank you for everything and I planted my boot full of specimens this weekend gone. Your nursery looked totally stunning even in the rain. The film is good enough but anyone who is able should visit and support these guys. Hope you enjoyed the choccies. Sorry Clara but hey you wouldn’t have been able to taste them ! Cheers. Richard.

Thoroughly enjoyed this episode Malcolm, thank you. Relieved to hear Clara had a negative result, hope she's on the mend, such a worry for all concerned. Loved Malcolms poem and Amanda's Edinburgh footage. Gorgeous conifers, even I'm beginning to like them. Lovely to catch up with the Skinner family and their wonderful Acers. Thanks to all

Nice video, much enjoyed. If I may suggest you put builders pva in your cement peat mix for troughs, will make it more workable and stick mix together like hell. Likely will semi seal the dried mix to prevent frost damage. One to experiment ratios of pva, would think perhaps two pints as starter in mixer full.😀
