Kiwi Design K4 Boost Comfort & H4 Boost Halo Battery Head Straps for the Meta Quest 3/3S

Here are my initial thoughts and first impressions - a very no-frills video 😆 Kiwi Design sent me their new battery head straps for the Meta Quest 3/Quest 3S, the K4 Boost comfort battery head strap and the H4 Boost halo battery head strap.

✨The Kiwi K4 Boost & Kiwi H4 Boost both have a dual charge system when using a 45W USB-C charger which means it will charge the battery head strap whilst also charging the actual headset.

The redesign of the back piece means you can also lay down without the head strap getting in the way. The adjustment dial is also a lot more quiet than the previous version.

I just got the K4 Boost. It's less stable than the BovoVR S3 Pro, but at least it doesn't KILL my skull by crushing it all around. It's also much lighter, by design and because of the smaller battery. Speaking of battery, I haven't used it long enough to say how many more hours it gives the Q3. Overall, I'm pleased, I can finally use my Quest 3 without squeezed inside it, but I have yet to judge the added battery life.

I love that the back is clean to lay down. They both look nice. I think I need the k4 boost.

I may try their halo strap. Just upgraded to quest 3. I have their old elite strap for quest 2 which is more like the k4 but not sure what I will get

Kiwis video add for the k4 boost shows it charges both the headset and battery pack at the same time while wall charging. Does this show in the quest user interface like the meta branded elite strap with 2 batteries or is it still showing as a power bank and charging the headset?

I just got the original version (that you already had) and I've been waiting for my Quest 3 to arrive in the mail. Then, I discover that THERE'S A BETTER VERSION! 😫

I'm still gonna stick with what I have. The new version does look like an improvement but both look really comfortable. Wish I'd known about the newer one a week ago but I'll survive... somehow.

6:55 there is an option in energy settings where you can disable the power button so it doesn't nothing when it gets pressed by accident.
