Ladies and gentlemen, I give you "the hardest, most complicated way to make eggs Benedict. EVER"

Definitely not a big fan of waiting 2 hours for Eggs Benedict, but I am sure there is a ton of other good uses for this cool little gadget.

2 hour to eat breakfast? Better wake up early or it'll be launch time by the time your eggs and sauce is ready.

If you want to sous Vide at home without a immersion circulator, Take your pot and cover it and set it to a low flame. put the pot half way on the stove top and adjust depending what temperature you want.

Eggs were a terrible food to use in a review. He would have done much better with a perfect sous vide steak. Helps people understand the purpose a bit more.

Just a thought here... To be practical when doing this for breakfast, can't one prep the night before adding everything to the pot along with adding ice into the water to keep everything from spoiling. Then program the Joule to turn on two hours before waking.

hollandaise reduction uses shallot not garlic

Pro Tip: you can just put the eggs right in the water. No need for a bag if they're in their shells ;)

Idk if eggs benedict was the best dish to make. You can easily make it in 15 minutes on the stovetop and it's typically prepared for breakfast/brunch where you don't have 2 hrs ahead of time. People who can't make hollandaise sauce usually have success in using a blender and slowly adding in the melted butter. I think you should do a part 2 showing meats!

It would help quite a bit if you would explain what the cooking device does for those of us who are not expert in kitchen gadgets.

1... How can this possibly be called a review? 2 I have used sous vide for years. I recently got my daughter the Anova.
it is almost identical except for ONE hugely important difference. The Anova works WITH or WITHOUT a phone app.

it seems easier to just poach and egg and make the hollandaise sauce not sous vide

The joule took far too long to come out and I couldn't wait to try sous vide. So I bought an Anova sous vide cooker and it works fine.
