Hi Emma, while I love your videos I adore this one. I came across the first Shardlake novel in our local public library years ago and instantly fell in love with the way of storytelling of CJ Sansom, his presentation of the characters, the vivid description of tudor England....

And while I read this first book still in German, I switched to the original english versions for the following ones, as I couldn't wait for the translations. I hope this won't be the last novel of Matthew Shardlake, as he has become something like a friend of mine. Cheers from Germany, Chris

I lived in Norwich for a couple of years just over the river from Dragons Hall and love the area - its not called a fine city for nothing! and one of my friends is a manager at the Maids Head Hotel! I hope they treated you well! :-)

You did it the wrong way around. You have to read the book *first* and *then* visit Norwich (and Wymondham) to get a feeling for the places and areas he describes.
