I see this being a “Switch Pro” because I don’t see parents upgrading, they’re gonna treat this like Wii to WiiU thinking “we already have one”

The day we got the first official pics of the Switch 2 they will start talking about Switch 3.

Personally I would have preferred the same format as the switch, just double the specs so we can get switch 2 games with better graphics and older switch 2 games running smoother without overclocking. The switch was already a little too big for me, even though i wear 2xl motorcycle gloves, it just never was small enough to carry all the time so it resided mostly docked at the house... and a non-screen version switch 2 as a standalone console would have just been awesome to see alongside it.

If it's too similar to the old switch, they run the risk of underwhelming people. It only needs to be portable and to be backward compatible. I don't care if the screen is bigger but they need to FIX the shortcomings of the old switch, and that includes having a D-Pad.

This feels more like a Switch Pro than a Switch 2, outside of the magnetic attachment for the joycons.

I've wanted bigger joycons since the OG Switch launched, and the sticks look 10x more comfortable. So I'm 100% happy with this design.
This will also be my first white console purchase.

I'll believe it when Nintendo actually announces it. But I also don't mind this design personally if it's what it ended up being.
