Funny you say that lie 5 is better for toe drag shots as Matthews uses a lie 6.5 according to an article I saw on the leafs forward's stick specs. I'm sure you know this, but he pulls the puck in really tight when shooting too, which would put the toe down lower. The heel of his stick would be off the ice with a lie 5 where he gets a lot of his shots off. Maybe you need to shorten up the shaft for the lie 6 and pull it in closer to your feet when shooting to get the toe down? That would be a fun video comparison. Two identical sticks, same curve and lie, different lengths and make the same comparisons as this video.

i prefer a lie 6 over a lie 5 even though im a shorter player at 5'8, i find its easier to get the puck closer to my body aswell as shoot and pickup rebounds. The way you describe the lie 5 though, might have to give it another try.

Guys get the kyc stealth pro this stick is amazing but unheard of. I have the tracer and trigger 9 pro kyc come on top. Tracers blade went soft but it’s better than the trigger 9 pro but all of them are great and kyc is way cheaper and is only 335 grams
