The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is one of the hottest new sports cars of this year. We've been dying to review the new beast and finally our host Tom Albrecht has received the chance to review the all-new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7! Power for the Chevy Corvette Z06 comes from a 6.2 liter V8 engine making 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque and it's worth every penny of its $78,995 price tag!

A STOCK Z06 can do 0-60mph in 2.95 seconds (8speedAuto) and 1/4 mile in 10.4 at 132mph... It also beat the PORCHE 918 (hypercar worth $1 million) on the track at VIR (Virginia International Raceway) and did a 6:59 time on the nurburgring, name me another Supercar that can do those numbers for $100k, I don't think so... This new Corvette is the bargain of the century

in fact... this car can beat a Ferrari 488 gtb! and for less than half the price. Now that's a winner's car. Ferrari are fine and everything, but if you are buying one, instead of a Corvette like this, you are dealing with an ego bigger than the statue of liberty... my opinion.

Great review! I like that the crew of FLD is having a chance to prove their camera worthiness with segments like this. I think that is one of the main reasons Fast Lane Daily has grown to be such a impressive show in my opinion. Presentation by Tom and the rest of the crew has improved dramatically and has kept my interest beyond the normal FLD shows.

I think it's good the owner is driving the car all year round. How ever I don't agree with the driver aids keep you from going off the road. I get winter driving I'm from Canada, there are tons of people who say "oh the traction control will take care of everything" then they end up in a snow bank. I also find the driver aids get in the way more than anything. When your driving in winter no matter what kind of car your driving you need to use common sense when you're driving in bad conditions

This video makes me so fricken exited to get my Z06 in march. Specced up exactly like this, but with red brake calipers. MSRP was $103k but snagged a GM discount from a friend before they got rid of the discounts.

This to me was by far the most honest and accurate showing I've seen yet.  Opinions are opinions, facts are facts.  There are those that will still argue with the facts, those people do it for the sake of arguing.  These people have taken debate to seriously and have nothing else better to do.  Bottom line here, each new performance vehicle has it's own great and unique qualities, but look at what the engineers have designed it for for consumer production before the tuners get their hands on it.  Yes I am a Corvette lover and love the classics of the 60's, but I am in love with this new one by far.  Can't wait to buy my own.

I love Corvettes... my Dad is a hard-working retiree of General Motors... and I've driven a Corvette (not a Z06) and I was amazed. I'd love to own a Z06 one day and drive my father around in one. Amazing, American Awesomeness! 'MERICA!

I know it has so much power that it's ridiculously quick, but it bothers me that this car has a top speed 13 mph lower than the C6 Z06.

Awesome car! I might trade my 997 GT3 for one of these in a few years!

But you need to realize that driving a modern Ferrari is at a level beyond pretty much anything else out there and I'm sure beyond what the C7 Z06 can bring. Though concidering its half the price and is much more practical (boot!) as well as cheaper to own and maintain it's an amazing package (and why I'm really tempted to buy one myself).

I seriously doubt you can purchase this car for $78, 995, but I loved the video.  Maybe the base model, but if you can get one for that price please tell me where, I'd love to know.
