My friend is a democrat and he told me that he voted for Trump. He said Kamala is not presidential material and shouldn’t have been vice president.

I also think that seeing Trump win the popular vote takes the wind out of their sails in believing that their candidate was chosen by the majority.

Realizing that their opinion is less supported by the people who surround them makes them think twice about how publicly they want to throw their tantrums.

I had a great conversation with my rural neighbor tonight. She is just as relieved about the election as I am. Neither of us watched the "Election Night" 500 channels of speculation as we have done in the past. We both acknowledged that we have either coworkers or family which we can't have the discussion with. It's sad and wrong. We are thrilled quietly about the course correction. She hadn't heard about the Senate and House majority wins so that will help next year. Finally have hope after 4 years of WTF!

I really enjoyed watching the clips of sorrow & despair from the legacy news media and the weeping talk show hosts. I don't watch any of those shows irl but i'm enjoying the clips! 😊

I had three co workers apparently invested enough that when Trump won; one of them called in, and two of them left early on an account of non stop crying and being too mad to work with the public; i work in a store, for context. And then the day after (today) they did not want to talk to me and one of them just acted like i didn't exist. Which was really lame because I've always been very kind to them, asking how they are what they like to do. But i guess one of them saw me and two other co workers being happy and spread the word so... Oh well

We did a mock election in my AP gov class a couple days before the election and Trump won our class 32 to 7... and pretty much everyone in that class is a moderate so that got me really excited for the real thing 😂

What?! I'm definitely seeing it. I felt like such a villain in college today. They were like really you voted for the convicted rapist? As if that's even factually correct. People were looking at me like I just killed their child or something.
