Everyone makes mistakes, it's also important to admit your mistakes. And to go out with your head up instead of down. But as other commentators have mentioned, you are a person with integrity, honesty and that's a huge plus.

I think that most importantly, you shouldn't judge a person by one minor quibble, but by the entirety of their work. Your materials on the channel have always contained a lot of useful information. So I hope you quickly cure your health problems.

Also looking at the previous comments, it's a shame that there were such negative comments from people who have no idea what they are talking about. And who can't even take a few minutes to look at the project's website, or find out what exactly Comic Desktop is. Instead, they prefer to pass on false information, disinform, and discourage potential future users. And these same people accuse others of toxicity, what hypocrisy.

It happens. You are a class act, I think a lot of the response you got was because you are always thorough in your reviews. Re: VM. I use proxmox and with VirGL I have no issues with it in a VM. runs better than Hyprland in fact. Curious to know what issues you had. Also got better after a couple of updates they pushed out after the release of the alpha. I appreciate that 1. You don't watch other reviews, and 2. That reviewing distros isn't you SOP. I have enjoyed the wide variety of topics you cover.

Cosmic is impressive, yes, but still a long way to go. The Pop OS alpha was a disappointment. For me as a long term Pop OS user, i was concerned the project was too ambitious, and i think i am right. Waiting 2 years for a new release of the OS, and its unusable at the present state. 2.5 Gb Ram usage at idle, no possibility to open samba shares in file manager, no autologin.... I switched now to Mint22 and installed gnome. This is just an awesome OS right now. Mint and Pop OS share a common problem, they are based on Ubuntu, and replacing snap packages with an own repo, and maintain the packages, maybe a bit too much. Mint has a plan B with LMDE, Pop OS has not...
