The Washington Post shocks the world by publishing an op-ed—a mostly positive op-ed—about my new film, "Am I Racist?"

The fact that they all pile on with accusations of racism pretty much proves the point of the movie.

What sucks is there really isn't anything "fringe" portrayed in the movie. These are people that are lifted up as heroes of DEI and anti racism that has been shoved down our throats the last 6 years or so.

When I was in college in 2013 as a psychology major, there was a required class called Multicultural Psychology. It was basically a leftwing CRT indoctrination. I had to write an essay on my white privilege. I had to explain what a microagression is on a test. In another class, Social Psychology, I had to take the implicit bias test and do an assignment on all my implicit biases. This was over ten years ago. It was required to graduate. This belief system is incepted into young college students’ minds. It is widespread, mainstream, and has been for a while.

If your views are shared by the HR department of every fortune 500 company, they aren't fringe.

Did you know the most telling sign of Fascism is the suppression of any dissent?

The commenters don't hate the journalist because she watched the movie; they hate her because she didn't condemn it loudly enough.

Diangelo and DEI in general are in no way "fringe." This stuff has permeated every area of our society, from HR departments, to universities, to labor unions, to every department of our government. If it were "fringe", there'd be no reason for Matt to make the film.

As an ex-Democrat and sometime leftist, I can indeed confirm that aggressive censorship and suppression of opposing ideas is an active tenet of the left. It’s why I ultimately left.

So the W.P. dipped their toes in the truth, shivered, and took their toes out.

The reason why no one on the left is willing to watch a movie titled “Am I Racist?” Is that they already know that they are

She’s absolutely right, Robin DiAngelo is the fringe, but also the core of the left. That tells you how extreme the left has become.

I watched Am I Racist last weekend and thought it was hysterical and highly effective. In my opinion, this movie alone destroys the DEI agenda. The Washington Post attempts to discredit it with faint praise but neither this approach or ignoring the movie altogether will be successful in stopping it's devastating effect on the woke agenda.

I have the weirdest deja vu. I grew up in a totalitarian country in the 80s. Anytime the regime had to deal with brave folks who didn't bow down to the state ideology, they would call them provocateurs. Well done, Matt.

Your movie just got extended again in San Francisco. It was originally going to run for one week, but now we're looking at 3 or 4!

Robin DiAngelo is the worst sort of grifter out there

Yeah labeling it Fringe is a tactic to minimize the impact.

I find the term "Orange Man" highly offensive, derogatory comments about someones color is just awful

The Robin DiAngelo part of your movie was some of the most telling and damning. The fact that she didn’t even know who you were goes to prove how much she lives in an echo chamber surrounding herself with only people who believe as she does. And when you got her to question her own views about “systemic “ racism and putting the solution on the system and not the individual, then getting her to reverse her strange position and give your black producer reparations what priceless!

"The human instinct for avoiding confrontation is exploitable if you're sufficiently willing to violate the social contract". That is actually beautifully put.

Democrat here, and I plan on seeing the movie because the trailer looked funny. I admit, I do worry about people looking at me if I see it or judgement, and at the other side of things, I kinda don’t care. I’m glad that lady at the Washington Post reviewed it. As far as the commenters on the Washington Post article, those aren’t the kind of democrats I want to hang out with. I always look at both sides of an argument to get a better idea of all the information and opinions I can.
